On International Skinny Dip Day… Gunnison Beach joins skinny dip locations around the world… in fundraising to cure women from disabling childbirth injuries and horrific body shame.
100% of money raised goes to Fistula Foundation — widely regarded as one of the most effective charities in the world.

What is the charity?
✳️ The bad news:
About one million women suffer from untreated birth trauma — causing them to: uncontrollably leak urine and/or stool 24/7 (often in areas of the world without diapers); smell bad; be outcast; and feel deep shame about their bodies.
✳️ The good news:
The bottom-up, ultra-effective organization Fistula Foundation has cured 90,000 women from their injuries and shame — and they are able to restore health to an additional woman 👩, for every $619 they receive.

- Gunnison is a clothing-optional beach. This means, no one is forced to wear clothes; no one is forced to be naked. You do what you are personally comfortable with in any given moment.

(Recommended: arrive to the entrance gate by 9am.)
